Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud, particularly with personalization
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for web/sitemap development
  • Experience as an MC Developer, Consultant, or JavaScript Developer
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Development principles and best practices
  • Expertise in Marketing Automation tools and techniques
  • Strong understanding of web development frameworks and libraries
  • Experience with Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing web performance
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles (50% of the role)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in JavaScript development
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud Personalization data models and integration techniques
  • Experience with API integrations and web services
  • Knowledge of marketing automation best practices and implementation patterns

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Cloud Development and Solutioning Design, develop, and implement solutions using Marketing Cloud technologies ensuring quality product delivery and adherence to client requirements
  • Develop and maintain web applications with proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions and execute on development tasks, customizations, and administration independently and proactively
  • Build and optimize campaigns, automation processes, and personalization strategies
  • Communicate technical concepts, design and decisions to a non-technical audience
  • Be able to speak to technical concepts at a deep level with a technical audience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customized solutions
  • Contribute to discovery and requirements gathering
  • Assist in translating client business requirements and needs into discovery and design documentation
  • Ensure that all components are rigorously tested, documented and satisfy technical standards and business use case requirements
  • Design and execute component unit testing
  • Facilitate UAT testing and validation
  • Responsively debug and troubleshoot application issues on a system and component level
  • Conduct informative, well planned training sessions with non-technical to highly technical client audiences
  • Document processes thoroughly and legibly, supplementing training sessions and enabling user adoption
  • Demonstrate eagerness to keep projects moving forward, taking initiative to resolve blockers and maintain momentum
  • Partner with analysts to ensure client satisfaction and the completion of projects that are on time and within scope
  • Understand project scope, and present recommended solutions which adhere to scope
  • Understand the use of change orders when applicable
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Actively pursue alignment with these resources, report on status of all assigned work regularly (daily)
