The Salesforce Platform Management Specialist will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility. This role involves acting as a direct technical resource to sales teams and sales support to drive the adoption of the Salesforce technology vision and other technological innovations. The specialist will help set and execute new technology functionality for Salesforce, drive efficiencies through connecting sales teams and support with technology, and partner the Salesforce platform and sales process together to help meet business objectives and goals. Engaging effectively and collaboratively across the organization and with customers to assert influence to ensure the best outcomes is crucial. The specialist will provide technical support as the primary contact for the sales organization, driving adoption on Salesforce technology vision and ensuring wholesalers and sales support realize that vision and adopt Salesforce. Duties must be carried out in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as company and site policies and procedures. Remaining current in profession and industry trends is also expected.

  • 1-3+ years of experience in platform ownership and requirements gathering.
  • Strong communication skills and acumen to guide conversations with sales teams about technology requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.
  • Salesforce administrator certification - must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Prior experience in Financial Services.
