About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce Platform App Builder who specializes in "low-code" application development to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between basic administration and programmatic development. You will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable business solutions using the full power of the Salesforce declarative platform—specifically Flow , Lightning App Builder , and Schema Builder . You will act as our internal Solution Engineer, translating complex business requirements into robust, maintainable applications without relying on custom code (Apex) unless absolutely necessary. You will own the "clicks-not-code" strategy, ensuring our instance remains agile, secure, and easy to upgrade.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Declarative Developer.
• Flow Mastery: Deep expertise in Salesforce Flow; ability to debug flows, manage variables, handle loops/collections
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational databases (Objects, Fields, Relationships) and schema design (Lookup vs. Master-Detail).
• Security & Sharing: Proficiency in configuring Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and OWDs to ensure data security.
• Experience utilizing Jira (or similar ALM tools) to manage development stories, track progress, and coordinate deployments with the development team.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialists
• Basic Code Literacy: Ability to read/understand basic SOQL queries or debug logs (even if you don't write Apex from scratch).
• Integrations: Familiarity with installing and configuring AppExchange packages.
• UX/UI: Experience with Salesforce "User Experience (UX) Designer" concepts.
• Soft Skills & Core Competencies Problem Solver: You enjoy digging into complex logic puzzles and finding elegant solutions.
• Translator: You can explain technical Salesforce constraints to non-technical business stakeholders clearly.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to conduct effective requirements gathering sessions and document findings clearly (e.g., user stories, process maps).
• Continuous Learner: You stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Release Notes (especially regarding Flow updates).

Responsibilities

• Declarative Development & Automation Advanced Automation: Design, build, and maintain complex flows using Salesforce Flow Builder (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Autolaunched Flows) to automate business processes.
• User Interface: Customize the Lightning Experience using Lightning App Builder , Dynamic Forms, and Dynamic Actions to create intuitive, conditional user experiences.
• Logic Implementation: Create and manage Formula Fields, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes to ensure data integrity and enforce complex business logic.
• Solution Design & Analysis Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with sales, support, and marketing teams to understand their workflows and translate them into technical requirements.
• "Clicks vs. Code" Strategy: Act as a gatekeeper for customization, identifying when standard functionality suffices and knowing exactly when to escalate to programmatic development (Apex/LWC).
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation of system customizations, flow logic, and data dictionaries.
• System Administration & Security Security Model: Manage the sharing and security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Role Hierarchies, and Org-Wide Defaults.
• Data Management: Oversee data hygiene, duplicate management, and perform bulk data updates using tools like Data Loader, Inspector, or DemandTools.
• Environment Management: Manage sandboxes and handle deployment lifecycles (Change Sets, DevOps Center, or Gearset) to move configuration from development to production.
