About The Position

We are seeking an expert Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex, data-driven customer journeys across multiple brands and locations. This role requires deep technical expertise in Marketing Cloud, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, and Integration teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly experienced, and capable of owning large-scale journeys, complex personalization logic, and data architecture end-to-end.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience in a production environment
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale, multi-location and/or multi-brand implementations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, multi-step customer journeys using Journey Builder, following best-practice architecture
  • Develop advanced segmentation, targeting, and personalization using SQL, AMPscript, GTL, SSJS, and HTML/CSS
  • Build and manage Data Extensions, relationships, and Contact Builder configurations to support complex data models
  • Create, schedule, and optimize automations in Automation Studio for data processing and journey entry
  • Develop and support campaigns across Email Studio and Mobile Studio (SMS/MMS)
  • Manage subscriber and contact lifecycle, including suppression logic, contact delete processes, and consent handling
  • Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud
  • Support and manage multi-BU (Business Unit) architecture, including data sharing and governance
  • Implement and maintain Sender Authentication Package (SAP) and deliverability best practices
  • Build and maintain CloudPages and Web Studio assets, including landing pages and forms
  • Design and document technical solutions, data models, and journey architecture
  • Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Troubleshoot data, automation, and journey issues across environments and channels
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and marketing users
  • Support project validation, deployment readiness, and post-release activities
  • Assist with UAT and pre-production testing by identifying data, integration, and automation gaps
