About The Position

The Salesforce FSC Architect role at Cognizant involves engineering, architecting, and delivering high-quality solutions for clients using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and other Salesforce products. The architect will lead delivery teams, ensuring enterprise-standard implementations that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform, while also mentoring team members and collaborating with functional teams to optimize solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and implementing data migrations.
  • At least 6 years of experience creating technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking and insurance, is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in technology implementation for full life-cycle enterprise software projects (minimum 5 years).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 16 years of work experience).
  • Experience collaborating with medium to large firms on cloud computing issues (storage, SaaS, multi-tenant computing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as APEX and Visual Force.
  • Experience with ANT and Eclipse tools for IDE work.
  • Salesforce.com Application and System Architect certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • FSC certification is preferred.
  • Certifications in Salesforce Application Architect, PD1/PD2, App Developer, Sales/Service Cloud consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Tech Architects focused on driving optimized solutions for FSC clients leveraging Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Collaborate with the functional team to determine the best implementation approach, balancing declarative and programmatic solutions.
  • Handle technical issues raised by less experienced team members.
  • Serve as the technical authority on the Salesforce platform, including security, integration, data migration, and other solution components for Life Sciences.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide periodic feedback, and perform annual reviews to guide team performance.
  • Assist with sales initiatives by providing leads, developing scopes/SOW, solutions, and price estimates.
  • Mentor Salesforce practice team members and take on leadership roles to enhance the practice's capabilities.
