About The Position

Rancher Government Solutions (RGS) is seeking a highly organized and execution-oriented Salesforce Engineer. This mid-level role is designed for a "builder" who thrives on taking strategic direction and turning it into functional platform features. Reporting to the Salesforce Manager, you will be responsible for the hands-on configuration and maintenance of our multi-cloud environment. The ideal candidate is a cross-cloud generalist capable of jumping between Service Cloud workflows, Experience Cloud portal updates, and Revenue Cloud (CPQ) pricing rules. Additionally, RGS utilizes Certinia (PSA) for our professional services operations. This role will achieve a balance between Certinia and the broader technical health of the RGS Salesforce ecosystem as led b y the Manager and the rapid resolution of Sales Operations and general user support tickets.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a mid-to-large Salesforce environment.
  • Proven track record of completing complex configuration tasks within defined project timelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flow, Data Loader, and complex Report/Dashboard building.
  • Direct experience configuring Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Communities).
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to Certinia/FinancialForce is highly valued and will be leveraged to support our PS and Finance teams.
  • Experience with CPQ pricing rules or quote-to-cash workflows is a major plus.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Service Cloud Consultant preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute the technical steps to move support operations into Salesforce, including configuring Case objects, Email-to-Case, and migrating Knowledge Base articles.
  • Build and maintain the RGS Customer Portal; manage sharing sets, branding, and the internal Helpdesk system to ensure high user satisfaction.
  • Support the Sales Ops team by updating product catalogs, bundle logic, and quote templates to ensure accurate revenue capture.
  • Own the internal Salesforce support queue, resolving tickets related to permissions, page layouts, report creation, and general troubleshooting for all RGS users.
  • Build and troubleshoot complex Flows to replace legacy processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Use Data Loader and other tools for mass updates, de-duplication, and ensuring the accuracy of our "Source of Truth."
  • Maintain RGS’s strict security posture (CMMC L2 / NIST 800-53) by managing profiles, permission sets, and MFA requirements.
  • Provide secondary support for the Certinia PSA environment, assisting with timecard configurations, project updates, and basic resource management tasks as needed.
