About The Position

The Information Technology Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business processes. Including but not limited to designing and configuring Salesforce solutions that align with business needs and maximize platform functionality. The Salesforce Developer will also work with Sales, Marketing, and IT, leveraging tools like Slack for communication and data visualization to deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Three (3) years managing Salesforce Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, AURA) and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Components to meet the bank’s business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define detailed requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient technical solutions
  • Integrate Salesforce with other platforms and tools, including Slack for enhanced team communication and data visualization and reporting
  • Perform regular system audits, maintain data integrity, and implement security measures to protect sensitive customer and bank information
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Salesforce integrations, API development, and third-party applications to ensure seamless end-to-end system functionality
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure quality and performance of the Salesforce platform
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform developments, releases, and new features, making recommendations for system improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with the IT and Salesforce administration teams to minimize disruptions
  • Support ongoing user training and documentation efforts to promote adoption and efficient use of Salesforce across the organization
  • Propose and implement process improvements, leveraging Salesforce functionality to automate workflows/flows, improve data visibility, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Oversee the development and documentation of functional and technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned by Manager.
