VetsEZ is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and Field Service Lightning on a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) project. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end Salesforce, including administration, development, testing, and integrations, while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions in Agile/DevOps environments. The candidate must reside within the continental US.

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows.
  • Perform Salesforce administration tasks: user management, security, object customization, record types, fields, and page layouts.
  • Create and manage Reports, Dashboards, and schedule data analyses.
  • Conduct data migrations using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and ETL tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud).
  • Automate business processes using Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts.
  • Support testing: unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Debug and resolve issues in Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and deploy code using Change Sets, ANT, GIT, Jenkins, or Force.com IDE.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience across configuration, customization, and testing.
  • Strong declarative and programmatic Salesforce skills (Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Lightning Components).
  • Experience with Salesforce administration, security, and object customization.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodology, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with testing methodologies and debugging Salesforce applications.
  • Knowledge of deployment and version control tools (ANT, Change Sets, GIT, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency with code versioning and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira, Confluence).
  • Prior federal government experience preferred.
  • Experience working with the VA or other federal agencies.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II).
  • Experience with ETL tools and Salesforce integrations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Lightning Design System, and LWC.
  • Active or the ability to obtain a government clearance.
