About The Position

The Sales Force Business Analyst plays a critical role in the management and analysis of sales pipeline and forecast data . This role ensures that the analyses are disseminated throughout the company including to Finance, Operations, and Client Services.

  • 1+ years of experience using CRM tools such as Sales Force.com
  • Ability to work 8 hours consecutively
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze historical and current sales data to forecast sales trends
  • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources
  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
  • Gather and analyze data to understand problems ; address them proactively
  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments
  • Ensure that the Sales Force.com sales pipeline and forecast data is entered by the Sales and Account Executive teams in accordance with corporate deadlines
  • Review sales pipeline and forecast data, validate accuracy, work with members of the Sales and Account Executive teams on any necessary updates to the data
  • Utilize systems tools and data, meetings with other departments ( e.g. Operations and Finance), and additional insights to analyze provided sales pipeline ; forecast data ensuring it is aligned with the flow of the products and services through the company according to corporate standards for recognition
  • Coordinate timely forecast updates for various weekly and monthly meetings
  • Review monthly actual results against monthly forecast ; provide forecast accuracy reporting ; review all forecast variances with Sales and Account Executives
  • Oversee sales pipeline and forecast updates made by members of the Sales and Account Executive teams based on learnings from actual results
  • Lead periodic team updates of the sales pipeline ; keep forecast aligned to regularly scheduled IWCO meetings
  • Manage the daily communications with the Sales Force.com account team
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Salesforce functionality, reports, and dashboards
  • Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned
