Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and leader, collaborating with process experts to design a vision and system architecture to streamline and systemize the companies most critical business processes.
  • Bringing technology, people, and processes together through effective governance and expert communication and listening skills to ensure that designed solutions align with the business needs.
  • Designing scalable, streamlined integrated solutions between Salesforce and other technologies to ensure data quality and standardization across platforms.
  • Educating & advising the development team on technical best practices.
  • Recommend the best solution for a given set of requirements and articulate the trade-offs involved in choosing one solution over another.
  • Ensure that the chosen solution will hold up over time, scale as the number of users increases, and minimize technical debt or manual changes.
  • Possess broad and deep technical knowledge, as well as listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Identify the optimal solution for a business requirement and recommend using clicks, code, or a combination of both.
  • Design the data model for Salesforce implementations to work in the holistic system landscape.
  • Design technical solutions for identity and access, data and process integrations, and large data volumes and data privacy needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce product capabilities and think quickly to address stakeholder needs.
  • Design systems that are sustainable, maintainable, and scalable for future business growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience as either an administrator or developer in the Salesforce.com platform with significant experience in Salesforce architecture and design and a broad and deep technical knowledge of Salesforce products and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, process experts, and technical teams.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams, including developers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and plan for the future.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Architect, are highly desirable.
