The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-performance technology solutions that support the evolving needs of a dynamic sports, entertainment, and mixed-use organization. This role focuses on the architecture and integration of the Salesforce ecosystem and related digital platforms to improve guest engagement, sales enablement, marketing automation, and enterprise operations. The architect will work cross-functionally with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners to develop strategic roadmaps, build robust digital infrastructures, and ensure alignment between IT capabilities and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II) strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, including 5+ years focused on Salesforce platform design and delivery
  • Expertise in designing scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom development, system integrations, and platform security
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, declarative and programmatic tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components), and API integration
  • Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns and tools (e.g., middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, identity management, data pipelines)
  • Proven ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives, communicating architectural decisions clearly to both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Direct digital experience working in sports, entertainment, hospitality and/or real estate is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable solutions within Salesforce and integrated digital platforms to meet organizational goals across business units such as Sales, Marketing, Guest Services, Special Events, and Partnerships
  • Define and maintain architecture standards and best practices for Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, Agentic solutions) and related digital systems
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into robust technical designs that align with enterprise IT strategy
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to support digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration strategies and tools between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, ticketing, customer data platforms)
  • Oversee the design and performance of APIs, middleware, and data flows that support customer engagement and operational workflows to/from the Salesforce platform
  • Design and execute configuration, new field and object creation, workflow automation, and oversee vendors to ensure cohesive, scalable solutions are maintained in the Salesforce environment
  • Lead technical planning, solution design reviews, and architecture governance for Salesforce initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across digital platforms, ensuring timely implementation of fixes and improvements
  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to development teams, Salesforce administrators, and business/data analysts
  • Stay informed of Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and industry trends to guide future-state architecture planning
  • Oversee Salesforce administration, including user provisioning, permissions, security roles, and governance of profiles, groups, and sharing settings
  • Manage environment setup, release coordination, and change control across sandboxes and production environments
  • Maintain platform integrity through data management, configuration optimization, and documentation of system changes
  • Partner with IT Security and business teams to ensure compliance, user onboarding, and continuous platform reliability
