About The Position

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Salesforce Administrator to be a core part of our team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with the ongoing development of our Salesforce environment, helping to build and deploy new business processes, handling day-to-day operations and taking an active part in platform improvements that enhance the user experience across teams. This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ years of Salesforce.com administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
  • Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce Integrations, and are a strong plus
  • Experience working in a SaaS organization and/or working in K-12 education, edtech, or education sales is preferred
  • Project management experience including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment, training, and delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of fellow Salesforce and system administrators
  • Identify and gather business requirements, translating them into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions, prioritizing user experience and long term health
  • Execute Salesforce configuration changes from designing Flows and approval processes to managing fields, page layouts and mobile settings
  • Coordinate the deployment of advanced solutions, including custom apps and Apex code, ensuring system stability
  • Control all aspects of user and license management, including security (roles, profiles permissions, OWD), user lifecycle (setup/deactivation), and group access
  • Actively manage data quality, storage constraints, and cleanup efforts, implementing rules and automation to maintain a clean and reliable CRM instance
  • Support and maintain integrated applications, including our proprietary sales platform, ensuring seamless data flow and a unified sales process
  • Support the management and potential migration of additional CRM instances including other Salesforce Orgs, Hubspot, and Infor:CRM
  • Develop and maintain essential reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into sales performance and system usage
  • Assist the Sales Enablement team by providing technical support for new sales onboarding and ongoing user training
  • Resolve day-to-day user needs and issues quickly via Slack
  • Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders and teams to address needs and drive platform value
  • Coordinate complex change management and rollouts, including detailed testing and deployment plans, to ensure successful adoption of new features
