The SIS Key Account Executive/Sales and Training Executive will educate, collaborate, and strategize with Executive and Sales Directors, Planner, and internal departments to lead communications to field & retail partners to increase sales and achieve company objectives within the Shiseido Independent Channel for brands Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté. These objectives include servicing top luxury account customers, motivating, and training store associates, all while cultivating strong account relationships. The KAE/STE will serve as a key partner in driving sales in our Spa and Independent store wholesale locations.

  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships, understanding retailer needs and goals.
  • Strategize with Field Team on seasonal planning.
  • Manage Channel Marketing Programming including Offers, GWP’s, Eventing.
  • Manage & negotiate VM Image investments, in-store Case line and Planogram updates as specially tailored by brand.
  • Manage & Maintain COOP, Strategic Planning and Spend.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Teams on Seasonal Goals and Focuses.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance brand presence and performance.
  • Lead, Motivate, and Support Field Team with a positive attitude.
  • Manage and coordinate the team’s Priorities, Workflow, Deadlines, and Deliverables.
  • Communicate with field teams and manage programming updates to support seamless execution.
  • Drive sales and execute strategies and initiatives within each retailer to ensure the achievement of sales plan.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners.
  • Create an open and collaborative environment that influences the sales teams of Independent Stores - SIS.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain productive freelance teams as well as Beauty Advisor/Coordinator teams.
  • Act as key liaison and executor of all events within territory, including virtual, with responsibility for achieving all financial targets.
  • Maintain a professional digital footprint across social media platforms, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Strengthen brand identity by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store.
  • Ensure all locations consistently support product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions, training, and successful execution of visual direction.
  • Evaluate retail trends to determine resource movements against sales.
  • Meet all deadlines for requests including calendars, expenses, and event recaps.
  • Understand retail partner protocols, support and adhere to their policies.
  • Enforce and execute company policies, procedures, and operational standards in all locations.
  • Participate in regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs.
  • Represent Shiseido Brands in a positive and professional manner through personal examples and influence of teams.
  • Work cross functionally with the Education team to grow store personnel with confidence in the brand.
  • Maintain an elevated level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
  • Deliver information in front of large groups for educational and sales purposes.
  • Uphold Shiseido Brand Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished professional appearance.
  • Achieve and adhere to budgetary spending commitments.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years’ Account Coordinator experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize and achieve results.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation (where applicable).
