About The Position

The Sales Training & Enablement Partner at MissionSquare Retirement is responsible for leading the training and development efforts for the sales organization. This role involves creating and implementing training programs, onboarding new sales team members, and ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. The position requires collaboration with various departments and continuous assessment of training effectiveness to enhance sales performance.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in field sales and enablement, or related roles within the financial services industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proven experience in sales and/or sales training with a track record of success.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in creating engaging training content using various formats and technologies.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training expertise to design, develop, and implement training programs covering product knowledge, sales techniques, tools, and processes.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
  • Create and execute onboarding training for new sales team members.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to assess training needs and identify knowledge gaps.
  • Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant.
  • Work closely with non-sales departments to ensure alignment in messaging and resources.
