About The Position

The Sales Department Trainer plays a key role in supporting Sales Leadership by designing, delivering, and continuously improving onboarding and ongoing education programs for our Certified Debt Specialists. The Sales Trainer is responsible for the learning and professional development of the company’s employees, primarily in the Sales area. The Sales Trainer equips staff with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation to carry out work-related functions. By leveraging data, feedback, and collaboration with leadership, the Sales Trainer ensures all training initiatives align with company objectives and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • At least 3 years of direct training experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills.
  • Possess a positive and caring attitude.
  • Strong organization skills: Coordination and planning of tasks and activities.
  • Analytical ability: Track the success of training and to develop contingencies when applicable.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at an above-average level.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency.

  • Understanding of training, teaching, and communication models or concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Management, Corporate Trainer and Recruiters to coordinate dates for new hire class and onboarding training classes.
  • Work with the Corporate Trainer to utilize shared resources effectively, ensuring training programs align closely with the company's operational standards.
  • Continue to develop and present our new hire sales onboarding and ongoing training programs.
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure training remains relevant and current in knowledge base, i.e. departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assess areas of improvement and success for the training program through the use of surveys, employee performance management tools, reporting, etc.
  • Align goals with Sales Management, opportunities and training needs including but not limited to: Compliance Related Issues, Production Related Issues, Administrative Related Issues.
  • Follow training procedures.
  • Continue to hone learning and training skills and the knowledge of company products and programs.
