About The Position

The incoming Sales Trainer will work closely with Kapitus' current Sales Trainer and the Director of Sales Enablement to help increase the effectiveness of our sales operations through the mentoring, coaching and development of training materials. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams, including direct sales, renewals, and ISO’s, and ensure they have the skills and Knowledge to achieve their goals. The ideal person will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills, charisma, and meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 3+ years’ experience working in a training capacity
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM- Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of Dialer Systems
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of different types of sales tactics
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms and live classroom training
  • Has previously worked as a high-performing salesperson
  • History of working with small business owners
  • QA with the ability to listen to phone calls and gauge buying signs
  • Ability to partner with multiple teams
  • Can identify the development needs of salespeople
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A great communicator with high credibility
  • The ability to listen and adapt training to different development levels
  • Experience in the financial industry

Responsibilities

  • Create and design training curricula within time and budget constraints that teaches our brand, industry, products, technology, and process best practices
  • Produce physical and digital educational materials (e.g., videos and case studies) to include call scripting, merchant qualification, contracts, lender/competitor training, policy, and procedures
  • Keep current with and maintain best practices for training across the entire sales division
  • Conduct skills gap analysis and identify areas of improvement
  • Participate in call listening to provide coaching & feedback
  • Conduct cross-departmental training with 360° views of Kapitus and how each division works together
  • Collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses
  • Develop individual coaching plans for salespeople with review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses
  • Conduct audits on sales adherence to legal and compliance requirements
  • Ensure sales reps are well versed on the risks that occur when compliance standards are not followed
  • Provide sales support by identifying issues that are due to user errors and work with sales reps to rectify misconceptions
  • Work closely with product to identify upcoming releases and prepare sales teams for upcoming features
  • Willingness to jump on the phones to experience what the sales team is experiencing and assist with any reps having difficulty handling a customer

Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary Range of $62,800 – $100,800. Kapitus is providing this as a good faith salary to comply with applicable law. The applicant’s final salary with depend on a number of factors including geographic location, skills, and experience
