CoStar Group seeks a dynamic Sales Trainer to coach and enable the Multifamily sales organization. You will deliver high-impact learning experiences, partner with sales leadership, and build scalable programs that accelerate ramp time, improve sales effectiveness, and drive adoption of key behaviors and tools. Comprehensive onboarding will be provided to help you learn how our brands complement one another and drive company revenue.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in sales and sales training within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B advertising or SaaS sales.
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coach sellers.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Commercial or Multifamily Real Estate
  • Experience managing a sales team is a plus.
  • Experience designing scalable sales training programs and assets (ILT/VILT, e-learning, microlearning, job aids).
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC) and pipeline/territory management best practices.
  • Comfort with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), LMS platforms, and enablement tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Highspot or similar).
  • Ability to measure learning impact and translate data into program improvements.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, and practical use of AI to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery - Deliver instructor-led classroom and virtual training focused on core solutions relevant to the Multifamily sales organization. Facilitate engaging sessions to build product and industry knowledge, and consultative selling skills.
  • Coaching and Reinforcement – Conduct structured follow-up coaching for sales team members to reinforce learning. Assess application of skills and share insights with sales managers to sustain performance gains.
  • Curriculum & Content – Partner with Sales Training leadership to design curriculum aligned to business priorities. Create and update content to reflect product knowledge, sales process, buyer behavior, territory management, and client success.
  • Stakeholder Partnership – Collaborate with sales leadership, product marketing and operations to identify skill gaps and learning solutions. Coordinate with managers for successful transitions for new sales hires. Own training schedules, communications, and post-session follow-ups. Collect evaluations and feedback for insights into actionable improvements
  • Measure training impact using agreed KPIs (e.g., ramp time, adoption rates, win rates), leveraging AI-enabled tools and analytics to personalize learning and improve retention
  • 25% travel time for classroom delivery, partnership with sales teams and leadership, regional meetings, and sales events. Flexibility to facilitate in multiple time zones may be required.
