About The Position

CED's Sales Trainee Program is a comprehensive 24-month rotational training initiative designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the electrical supply industry. Trainees will gain hands-on experience across various roles within the company, focusing on customer relationships, sales techniques, and operational processes. The program emphasizes proactive engagement, effective communication, and time management, preparing participants for future leadership roles within the organization.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Time management skills
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the CED business
• Attend classes online and in-person at various locations
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentoring
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with electrical customers
• Contribute to goal-planning with branch manager
• Develop relationships with important customers
• Engage in counter sales, receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and customer delivery as needed
