About The Position

Overview: The purpose of this entry level position is to provide an opportunity to learn about Kentucky Eagle’s portfolio, customers’, sales and delivery processes to be prepared for a transition to a sales role. Duties and Responsibilities: Learn about our suppliers and their brands. Learn how to utilize data analytics to be a resource for our customers and identify selling opportunities. Learn the sales cycle including using the on-line portal and submitting orders. Travel in local market with Sales Representatives and Sales Management. Learn how to competitively present and position our brands in the market. Assist with merchandising and point of sale placement. Provide sales support for open territories through account visits. Identify selling opportunities during account visits. Record and monitor inventory at accounts. Review sales performance with management compared to sales targets.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of B2B customer service experience.
  • Account management experience preferred.
  • Strong desire to start a career in Sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License in good standing with a driving record acceptable to Kentucky Eagle’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Solicitors License with the Kentucky Dept. of Alcohol and Beverage Control
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend, twist and repetitively lift 35lbs.
