About The Position

At Arnold, the company has assembled a comprehensive machinery support team in the western United States, valuing its associates who carry its reputation. The training provided to Sales Associates helps maintain this standing. This is an entry-level position offering the opportunity for the chosen candidate to work in all departments to gain a well-rounded understanding of Arnold Machinery, its customers, and its Branches. The Sales Trainee will work for one year in the Service, Parts, Rental, and Sales Departments. After completing the initial one-year training program, the Associate will be available to enter outside unit sales, outside aftermarket sales, or other positions as they become available at any of the Material Handling Branches.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience could be substitution for school requirements.
• Current, valid driver license.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work for one-year as required in Service, Parts, Rental and Sales Departments.
• Understand SILVER SERVICE®.
• Understand Arnold Machinery Company's culture and processes.
• Become familiar with many aspects of the material-handling business.
• Help identify the best career-match between the successful candidate and Arnold Machinery Company.
• Data entry and various office duties.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
