Position Overview: A. Duie Pyle’s Sales Development Program is an accelerated training program designed to prepare and develop future business development representatives. SDP will take you on a three month progression where you will learn about our Operations and Sales teams while developing a strong understanding of the transportation industry and our direct competitors. Your career will begin at the closest Pyle terminal to your home. Here, you will learn about freight handling and our LTL, less-than-truckload, business. Over the course of the next three months, you will gain valuable hands on experience working various shifts on our dock and riding along in our trucks. To sell our services successfully, you have to first understand how they work . Additionally, you’ll spend time in our corporate office engaging with and learning from our senior leadership. Nearing the completion of the program, you’ll receive your assigned territory within the Pyle network. Following your successful graduation, you’ll start putting your new acquired skills to work!
