About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Strong focus on the sales side of the business including the sales processes, orders, logistics, billing, etc. Involvement in the operational side of the business including exposure to mining, processing, quality control, and shipping. A solid understanding of the support departments including the functions that they perform and how they support the business. These include CCM, finance, and legal. Complete various projects as assigned during the training program. Projects may be operational, sales or business development related. These projects are a great way for the successful candidate to really add value to the organization and increase their own skills while completing the training program. Participate in continuous improvement exercises, including work that is heavily analytical, to seek new and changing ways to improve the profitability of the business. Drive and promote a culture of safety and promote a safe work environment

Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Advanced degree in sales/marketing, construction management, mining or another applicable program.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to maintain a safe workplace and to perform hands on duties as part of an overall development program
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing situations
  • Willingness to travel and / or relocate for future assignments
