About The Position

Our Sales Trainees work alongside Helena's Sales Representatives and the Branch
Manager to become familiar with our products and services, learn how to make
effective sales calls and build relationships with customers in preparation for
the role of Sales Representative.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain PCA is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

Nice To Haves

• Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.

Responsibilities

• Makes calls on customers with Branch Managers or when directed by the Branch Manager.
• Demonstrates products and provides essential information about product prices, new developments, market trends, etc.
• Answers customer questions concerning product pricing, credit terms and performance.
• Completes sales forms with required sales information.
• Becomes familiar with Helena's credit policy as it relates to sales, warehouse procedures and product delivery procedures.
• Participates in formal training as determined by Division Manager.
• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
• Reliable and regular attendance is required.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
