About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Sales Tax Analyst to manage the onboarding experience for new enterprise clients. In this role, you will guide clients through complex sales tax processes, ensuring accurate setup, clear communication, and seamless collaboration across internal teams. You will own project timelines, translate technical and data insights into actionable guidance, and build trust with clients who may be navigating challenging or unfamiliar territory. This role blends analytical work, project coordination, and client advisory responsibilities, providing an opportunity to impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, high-touch situations and has a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, accounting, sales tax, or related fields
  • Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and working with complex datasets
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and confidently with clients and internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Curiosity, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn sales tax regulations and processes in depth

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring timelines are met and dependencies are coordinated across teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating complex sales tax and data concepts into clear, actionable guidance
  • Analyze client transaction data, ensuring accuracy and proper mapping to support ongoing filing processes
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on next steps
  • Proactively identify challenges, remove blockers, and maintain consistent communication with both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements, documenting learnings and implementing scalable solutions for client onboarding
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to peers when appropriate, helping elevate team performance and client outcomes
