We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Sales Support Supervisor to lead our Rosemont-based team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant quotes and proposals. This role is a perfect fit for a player-coach who is ready to raise the bar by driving sales efficiency and serving as the go-to expert for our CRM and proposal tools. As a pivotal leader within our organization, you will play as one team, collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Legal to streamline deal execution and mitigate risks. You won't just oversee processes; you will lead the training and onboarding for new sales hires, ensuring they are equipped with the best practices and systems knowledge needed to win. In addition to operational excellence, you will provide direct leadership for a team of 12 Specialists (8 Sales Support, 3 Key Account, 1 CPQ Analyst). We are looking for a people leader who is passionate about fostering team development, driving a culture of accountability, and building a high-performance environment that always thinks customer first. This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days #LI-Hybrid AS LIFE FITNESS / HAMMER STRENGTH'S SALES SUPPORT SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL: People Leadership & Development Direct Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Sales Support Specialists, 3 Key Account Support Specialists, and 1 CPQ Business Analyst. Performance Management: Set clear KPIs and annual objectives; conduct regular 1-on-1s and effectively coach team members. Career Growth: Identify development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of promotion-readiness and continuous learning. Accountability: Drive a culture of ownership, ensuring the team meets or exceeds internal SLAs for quote turnaround and accuracy. Quoting & Operational Excellence Deal Oversight: Lead the team in preparing and reviewing complex sales quotes; serve as the final check for pricing accuracy and policy compliance. Tool Administration: Act as the lead administrator for our proposal builder (Qvidian), ensuring all content is current and optimized for sales velocity. CRM Integrity: Oversee Salesforce data accuracy and build reporting to track quote holds, paperwork status, and team productivity. Strategic Collaboration & Training Cross-Functional Partner: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal to streamline deal execution and mitigate revenue risks. Sales Enablement: Design and deliver training for new sales hires on quoting systems, workflows, and best practices to ensure rapid onboarding.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in sales support, revenue operations, or a high-volume B2B coordination environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a formal leadership, "lead," or mentoring role with a desire to take on full people-management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred) and experience with proposal/CPQ tools (e.g., Qvidian).
  • Ability to deliver candid feedback to your team and influence stakeholders across Finance and Legal.
