About The Position

Mission Foods is looking for a talented Sales Specialists to support its Sales Force. Delivers racks and builds displays in ways that encourage customers to buy products. Prospect for new business. Sell products and incremental space/displays. Develop strong trade relationships with customers. Identify service issues. Ensures Planograms (POGs) are utilized to increase customer purchases. Recommend how many products should be visible to the customer at a time, how high or how low the product should sit on shelving units and what related products should be on display nearby. Ensure sales tag integrity through inspection and proper placement. Check for voids. Communicate back to Area Sales Manager and District Sales Managers daily and weekly. Identify service issues and potential service issues. Keep warehouses clean and maintained. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required, some college preferred.
  • 2 Years of related experience in sales and/or merchandizing.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above education/experience.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Work requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Candidates must live in the geographic area to ensure a reasonable commute and access to customers in the assigned district.
  • Able to work flexible hours and days, including weekends as needed.
  • Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
  • English and Spanish strongly preferred.
