ANDMORE is seeking a Sales Support Specialist - Atlanta Convention Center Events to support event sales, prospecting efforts, and administrative operations within our Atlanta market. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue through sales support, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination of event logistics and sales processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and eager to grow within a sales-driven environment, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Sell event spaces, services, and products to prospective clients
  • Prospect into existing accounts, including cold calling and lead follow-up
  • Manage inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and route to appropriate team members
  • Maintain and update sales systems, including entering leads and tracking opportunities
  • Confirm event space availability, pricing, and contract details with clients
  • Draft and manage license agreements in accordance with company guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, reservations, and event calendars
  • Produce sales reports including activity, revenue, and pipeline updates
  • Own client invoicing process, including generating invoices, confirming payment schedules, and ensuring accuracy of billing details
  • Partner with clients to communicate payment expectations, deadlines, and resolve any billing questions or discrepancies
  • Coordinate deposits, track payment status, and partner with accounting
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payments prior to and after events
  • Support customer site visits and sales presentations
  • Build and maintain prospect lists and sales pipelines
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth
  • Input and maintain CRM data from sales activities and events
  • Conduct market research on industry trends and competitive venues
  • Support Sales Managers with follow-up and lead qualification
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by leadership
  • Manage reservation systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Support proposal tools and act as liaison for related systems
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client payment communications, ensuring a seamless and professional experience
  • Coordinate vendor billing, reconciliation, and payments
  • Maintain inventory of sales and marketing collateral
  • Assist with marketing initiatives including direct mail and promotional campaigns
  • Prepare and distribute departmental reports
  • Support general administrative needs including correspondence and materials
