Requirements

  • High school degree/GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or psychology preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Experience in Salesforce (CRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers and internal stakeholders by providing services such as researching and responding to customer inquiries in various formats.
  • Provide pricing on products over the phone and negotiate pricing with customers within account manager’s threshold.
  • Discuss and educate customers on BEACON SAAS & Invoicing practices with prospective and new customers.
  • Achieve and maintain a deep technical understanding of the product line and its applicability into different customer applications.
  • Work with branch manager to maintain accurate minimum balance levels for inventory in distribution warehouses.
  • Communicate with branch managers when customer specifications change or projects end to avoid excess inventory.
  • Work with other distribution branches to sell returned products within their territory when specifications allow.
  • Navigate on-hand inventory reports to sell inventory that may get lost in the system.
  • Understand warehouse processes and help pack and ship orders as needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, account managers, and field support specialists for account issues.
  • Make quick decisions to resolve issues with a cradle to grave approach.
  • Review bids, quotes, and orders to ensure accurate processing and assist in updating bids in Salesforce.
  • Provide feedback to branch manager on issues and opportunities to reduce redundancy and improve accuracy.
