About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist provides timely, accurate, and professional support to Laerdal’s internal teams and external customers. This role manages quotes and proposals, ensures Salesforce accuracy, and assists with regional events. Responsibilities include verifying pricing and contracts, preparing materials, processing orders, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Success requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive communication to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma – certificate or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Sales Support and/or Customer Service experience
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to customer engagement and delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and support innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction with quotes and proposals.
  • Facilitate revisions and consult with Client Executives to meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Uphold Laerdal values while delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for Client Executives, Regional Channel Managers, National Accounts, and Government teams.
  • Create accurate quotes, proposals, sole source letters, proforma invoices, and manual invoices within established timelines (quotes within 8 hours, proposals within 24 hours).
  • Verify contract eligibility, pricing, and check stock availability and lead times.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce entries for opportunities and activities, including updates to past-due opportunities.
  • Provide administrative support for regional events such as Mini SUNs, Major SUNs, and workshops.
  • Prepare event materials including badges, agendas, and literature; manage CVent registrant lists.
  • Utilize established best practices throughout the sales support process.
  • Research order status, account credit terms, and account status.
  • Process no-charge entries and complete Education Market Order Forms for quotations.
  • Consistently adhere to Laerdal policies and lead in Salesforce usage.
  • Proactively interact with Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to complete administrative tasks.
  • Seek innovative approaches to enhance sales team support and operational efficiency.
