About The Position

The Sales Support Representative is instrumental in driving revenue growth by providing high-level support to the sales team, streamlining sales processes, and helping identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales operations, be highly organized, and demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting sales initiatives and optimizing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of contributing to revenue growth.
  • Experience working with sales teams in a B2B or enterprise sales environment.
  • Knowledge of revenue forecasting, sales pipeline management, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with automation tools or sales performance analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and how sales support functions impact overall revenue.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on driving efficiency and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key liaison between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to ensure smooth communication and effective sales execution.
  • Provide strategic support to the sales team by preparing quotes and other sales-related documents.
  • Maintain and update customer records, sales data, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure that orders and/or requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with account managers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing customer relationships to drive additional revenue.
  • Respond to custom inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, account statuses, and other sales-related concerns.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Ensure that all sales activities are documented and tracked in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain accurate records and reporting.
  • Support the development of targeted sales campaigns and strategies designed to increase revenue within key verticals or customer segments.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the sales team on customer pain points, preferences, and buying behaviors to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and revenue goals.
  • Track and monitor account performance, ensuring that client goals and KPIs are being met.
  • Source product request from suppliers through various channels.
  • All other duties as assigned.
