About The Position

Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative. This position supports the Industrial customer group and works together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions. The role ensures the delivery of personalized customer service through timely sourcing, quotations, and accurate sales orders. Responsibilities also include coordinating deliveries on behalf of customers and answering sales calls or emails for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (8 hour shift).

Requirements

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of Industrial experience with pipes, valves & fittings or equivalent required.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs.
• Ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.
