About The Position

The Sales Support Representative at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and efficiently. This position involves collaborating with sales leads, assisting customers with product displays, and maintaining strong relationships with account personnel. The representative will also be responsible for inventory management and merchandising, contributing to the overall success of the sales operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits products.
• Experience in stocking shelves and creating product displays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
• Industry certifications such as CSW, CSS, WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or Sake Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Lead/Inside Sales Representative to ensure proper order delivery, merchandising, and pricing.
• Assist customers with stocking shelves, resetting coolers, and creating displays for purchased products.
• Solidify strong customer relationships and understand areas where support is needed.
• Place prices and descriptive signs on products.
• Check account's on-hand inventory and submit replenishment orders.
• Prepare and maintain product displays.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods.
• Maintain merchandising reports and survey accounts for merchandising opportunities.
• Report competitive activity and pricing to the immediate supervisor.
• Cover open sales territory as needed.
