ROLE SUMMARY: The Sales Support & Merchandising Intern assists with day-to-day sales support and merchandising operations at assigned retail locations. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in beverage distribution, merchandising execution, and sales operations while working alongside Sales Support Representatives and Merchandisers. This is a temporary summer internship position and is not intended to replace a full-time Sales Support Representative or Merchandiser.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (business, sales, marketing, supply chain, or related field preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Ability to lift, load, and move product up to 60 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in cool environments (as low as 40 degrees)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail, warehouse, or manual labor experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with stocking shelves, coolers, and floor displays using back stock inventory
  • Rotate product using first-in, first-out (FIFO) by code date
  • Assist with merchandising displays using proper POS materials
  • Identify and communicate out-of-stock or potential low-stock situations to sales personnel
  • Maintain clean and organized back stock areas
  • Transport product using hand trucks, U-boats, and pallet jacks
  • Break down cartons and carriers and dispose of properly
  • Support Sales Support Representatives with merchandising and promotional execution
  • Participate in ride-alongs with Sales Support Representatives and Merchandisers
  • Assist with special projects, seasonal resets, and promotional initiatives
  • Participate in training and company meetings as assigned
  • Work closely with team members to support company goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
