About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to support business-critical operational tasks for the sales team. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude under pressure. The ideal employee is highly driven with the ability to quickly adapt to the needs of an expanding channel and one who is interested in growing with the organization.

Requirements

• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 year of experience as a Sales Support Specialist or similar role

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1+ years previous experience in a call center environment preferred
• Solar experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues presented by the sales representative or customer during a phone call
• Responding to inbound phone calls from sales consultants as well as other forms of communication in a timely manner
• Utilize and adhere to all tools, policies, and rules that are provided and mandated by management
• Schedule appointments with customers for technicians to move the account through the solar process
• Strive to improve performance by utilizing self and Team-lead evaluations
• Properly documenting all verbal and digital correspondence relevant to the customer account
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
