About The Position

American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Administrator to support our Sales and Proposals teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring sales operations run smoothly by assisting with documentation, coordination, customer communication, and administrative support throughout the sales lifecycle. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of administrative, sales support, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation, and internal systems
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and collaborative

  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Ability to verify identity and employment authorization (Form I-9)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Proposals teams
  • Assist with preparing and organizing sales documentation, proposals, and customer records
  • Support bid list registrations, customer prequalification requests, and related tracking
  • Maintain and update customer information, files, and sales documentation in internal systems
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email
  • Track deadlines, follow up on required information, and ensure timely responses
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and general sales-related administrative tasks
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes and documentation accuracy
