About The Position

The Sales Support Admin (SSA) provides essential administrative assistance to a remote sales organization, enabling sales professionals to focus more on customer interactions. The SSA serves as the first point of contact for the sales team, coordinating various events and meetings, and actively contributing to process improvements within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Prior experience in coordinating the planning and execution of events and tradeshows.
  • Experience managing priorities and multi-tasking in a professional setting.
  • Prior administrative support experience in a field sales or remote workforce capacity.
  • Experience working in a large matrix organization and independently as well as in teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer a high volume of sales team meetings, contractor events, trade shows, customer events, conference calls, and plant tours.
  • Manage logistics for internal team meetings, including space identification, food and beverage ordering, and event organization.
  • Select locations and manage communications for customer events, including flyer and registration processes.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for small to medium trade shows, including booth setup and marketing materials.
  • Assist with transportation, lodging, and meals for contractor events, conference calls, and plant tours.
  • Support the interview, onboarding, transfer, and exit processes for sales team members.
  • Order promotional items, business cards, and assist with marketing needs for the sales team.
  • Educate and assist the sales team with navigating company systems and software.
  • Provide monthly customer scorecards, open order reports, and ad-hoc sales reports as requested.
  • Investigate budget and policy-related questions and reconcile meeting and procurement card expenses.
  • Manage regional customer lists and membership dues, and track promotional credits.
  • Research and escalate questions regarding toolbox orders and literature/sample availability.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as needed and perform additional duties as required.
