Sales Strategy and Operation Associate

Devoted HealthWaltham, MA
$65,000 - $85,000

About The Position

A bit about the role.... How do you scale a company while maintaining a tight operation and delighting members with best-in-class service and clinical outcomes? Come find out. At Devoted, we are thinking about Sales differently. We think about our Sales team as an extension of our core member experience and are looking for opportunities to differentiate from the very first interaction a potential member has with our company. As a key member of our sales strategy and operations team, the associate will play a crucial role in managing the operations of a full multi-channel sales force, helping support the build of world-class sales-enablement technology, and strategically evaluating new opportunities for growth and expansion. The success of our sales operations team will be a fundamental differentiator in our ability to meet key company growth goals over the next decade. The ideal associate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy and will have a roll-up their sleeves mentality. You should be ready to leverage data and quick problem solving to make effective decisions. Additionally, you should be comfortable taking ownership of your piece of the business and have a desire to learn and take on more responsibility as you and your role evolves with Devoted.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in operations, project management, or an analytics role
  • Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets to analyze data and surface actionable recommendations
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Strong operational execution with the ability to build and scale processes in a fast-growing environment
  • Collaborative and team oriented with the ability to work cross functionally with other departments
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous process improvements
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives, prioritize workloads, and adapt quickly
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Have a passion to build an organization

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) certificate workflow for broker and agent onboarding, including validating certificate completion, ensuring compliance with CMS standards, and driving timely clearance so agents can achieve Ready-to-Sell (RTS) status and start helping Medicare-eligible members as quickly as possible.
  • Partner with our offshore vendor to oversee day-to-day workflow execution across agent appointment processing and FWA certification, maintain quality and accountability, and lead structured quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Lead the charge on how we integrate AI into our operations, identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks, eliminate bottlenecks, and build smarter, faster workflows that allow our team to scale without sacrificing quality. If you get excited about using AI tools to solve real operational problems, you will thrive here.
  • Serve as a responsive and reliable point of contact for broker and agent inquiries via email and case management. Our brokers are an extension of our member experience, and how quickly and effectively we support them has a direct impact on the members they serve.
  • Support the team in managing agent state appointments and state licensing, monitoring statuses and flagging issues proactively. Without proper state appointments and licensure across states, agents cannot legally sell our plans, making this work directly tied to our ability to grow membership and reach Medicare-eligible members who need it most.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting on onboarding workflows to track performance, identify trends, and surface insights that drive smarter operational decisions.
  • Effectively prioritize competing requests and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, using good judgment to know what needs attention and when.
  • Take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities as the business evolves and needs arise.
