Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operate an electronic checkout system and make change.
  • Verify the change fund and amount of currency received during assigned shifts.
  • Manage change machines and ensure proper amounts of cash and coins are available.
  • Assist customers by answering questions concerning prices, identification, and location of items.
  • Count cash and negotiable instruments to prepare an accountability report.
  • Manage self-checkout registers and assist customers in processing their purchases.
  • Change register tape and clear routine equipment and scanning jams on registers.
