About The Position

The Sales Specialist is the initial point of contact for most customers’ equipment needs. They assist customers with research, facilitate purchases, load, and unload inbound/outbound equipment, maintain organized display yards, aids in inventory control, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively, professionally, and in a welcoming manner with walk-in customers.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with potential and existing customers, alerting them of new products and services that improve their lives or businesses.
  • Collaborates with other departments and managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency through all points in the customers’ relationship with CT.
  • Serves as the point of contact for existing and new customers with a focus on customer satisfaction; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Returns customer contact within the day if not the hour. Fast is the expectation.
  • Make outside sales calls based on customer lists provided by the outside sales team.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, quotes, sales, lost sales, and lead generation data.
  • Assists with inventory control processes including organization, monthly count, and lot clean up.
  • Loads and unloads inbound and outbound equipment.
  • Assists in scheduling and directing setup technicians.
  • Engage in all sales and product learning opportunities offered.
  • Learns continuously, attending training as available.
  • Understands and demonstrates the functions and features of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Assist in training new sales employees and in evaluation of new employee production and efficiency.
