Sales Specialist
About The Position
Freytag's Florist, a family-owned and operated flower shop serving Austin since 1974, is one of Austin's most established and respected florists. We are seeking an experienced retail sales specialist to join our talented and professional team. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. As the primary point of contact for our walk-in customers, you'll help them find the perfect arrangement, plant, or gift making every visit to our shop a memorable one. You'll also wrap and present floral products for customers, so an eye for detail and presentation goes a long way in this role. If you currently work in retail and are looking for something a little more unique and rewarding, this could be a great fit. This position focuses on customer service and sales and does not involve floral design.
Requirements
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- High standard for exceptional customer service
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- An eye for detail and presentation
- Comfortable working on a computer and POS system
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store during shifts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday with a rotating day off
