About The Position

This role is for a Sales Specialist who enjoys interacting with customers both behind the counter and in the yard. It's a hands-on position offering variety, combining sales floor duties with outdoor yard support to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service. The ideal candidate will deliver great service, manage register transactions, and assist customers with product selection and loading in the yard.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic and reliability—show up ready to work
• Customer service or sales experience (retail counts)
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to handle physical work and lift 50+ lbs
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather

Nice To Haves

• NetSuite experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly, no-nonsense service
• Handle sales transactions, returns, and cash with accuracy
• Answer questions and help customers find the right products
• Build relationships and keep customers coming back
• Support sales growth through outreach and follow-up
• Step into the yard or nursery to assist with product selection and loading
• Operate equipment (including forklift) when needed
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
