About The Position

As the Sales Specialist, you will grow Legrand’s presence with enterprise, cloud, and colocation customers who are building AI and High‑Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Drawing on consultative selling and a solid understanding of data center physical infrastructure, you’ll help customers design scalable solutions across cabinets, containment, and rear‑door heat exchanger (RDHx) cooling to support modern GPU‑dense workloads. You’ll partner closely with solutions engineering, product, channel, and marketing to win new business and expand existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years in technical sales or sales engineering within data center infrastructure (e.g., racks/cabinets, containment, cooling, PDUs, connectivity) or adjacent solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., SAP) and proficiency with Microsoft Office/365.
  • Strong consultative selling skills: ability to establish credibility with technical and business stakeholders and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking; able to work both independently and collaboratively while following organizational processes and guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~25% for customer meetings and events.

Nice To Haves

  • Large/named‑account management experience.
  • Working knowledge of data center cooling strategies (including RDHx) and containment approaches for high‑density AI/HPC.
  • Experience selling to cloud, colocation, or GPU/AI platform teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans for named AI/HPC customers across North America; build multi‑threaded relationships that lead to new opportunities.
  • Create clear, data‑driven pipeline insights, forecasts, and activity notes in CRM (Salesforce or similar).
  • Lead professional customer and partner meetings (virtual and onsite) to scope requirements and align on solution approach.
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑sales support in partnership with technical teams; translate business needs into solution designs and coordinate smooth deployments and enablement.
  • Deliver consultative presentations that communicate performance, value, and scalability of Legrand’s cabinets, containment, and RDHx portfolio for AI/HPC environments.
  • Track data center trends (e.g., density, cooling, power distribution) and competitive dynamics; bring voice‑of‑customer insights to influence product enhancements.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve messaging, offers, and sales plans for the fast‑growing AI/HPC segment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
