About The Position

The Lifecycle Services (LCS) Sales Specialist will have primary responsibility for generating LCS quotes and managing customer profiles while promoting Vilter Lifecycle Services Solutions and business objectives in our Gas and Refrigeration businesses globally. The sales specialist candidate must be Customer Focused, Action Oriented, and able to Communicate Effectively with both internal and external customers. They will need to work collaboratively with the Vilter team to create a vision & strategy that will lead to meaningful customer relationships that position Vilter as their trusted advisors in the industry. Additionally, the importance of this role will demonstrate Vilter’s breadth of experience, depth of technical expertise and dedication to partner with customers and solve their most challenging service needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors (BS) degree or equivalent in engineering or related technical field
  • Comfortable working with industrial site operational teams
  • Proficient in understanding product parts and services for compression and system technologies
  • Able to take complex solutions and convey them in easy-to-understand concepts
  • Ability to work across functional groups and influence team members
  • Understand basic financial calculations and commercial concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Compression, Refrigeration or Gas Application industries or in Service Sales Experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience and proven success in a sales role working for a Compression Company serving refrigeration, gas or services compression markets.
  • Experience working independently in a business development sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Vilter LCS sales team to generate quotes for new opportunities, manage customer data and promote our technology to favorably position us for future business opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals for Vilter Genuine parts and major equipment spares
  • Manage customer profiles including multipliers, incentives and historical sales analytics
  • Track in-process LCS orders and communicate status to customers
  • Work seamlessly with LCS sales team and existing customer operation’s teams to develop, propose and close new lifecycle service solutions
  • Build meaningful and lasting relationships by promoting Vilter's broad value proposition that will position us for future project opportunities
  • Acquire a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and challenges to provide them with the most efficient and effective solutions
  • Expand upon Vilter’s project scope on each opportunity
  • Work closely with sales, application engineering, marketing, R&D and management on market challenges and requirements
  • Perform analytics to track customer sales and ordering trends
  • Support product pricing for LCS parts and services to maximize sales
  • Execute Sales Plans to exceed defined sales and gross margin objectives
