As a Sales Specialist, you will drive direct commercial outcomes, meet clear revenue and adoption targets, and act as the go-to expert helping customers understand the value of Kpler’s chartering and communication solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' of SaaS sales experience (Minimum of 3 years experience in chartering software, maritime tech, freight SaaS or commercial shipping roles)
  • Solid understanding of pre-fixture workflows, vessel screening, email/communication flows, and operational data needs
  • Proven experience in quota-bearing or KPI-driven roles.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and discovery skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

  • Previous experience with maritime email providers (Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue and adoption KPIs for Chartering and Inbox solutions.
  • Drive pipeline generation and progression, ensuring targets are hit consistently.
  • Lead high-impact product demos tailored to charterers, operators, brokers, and traders.
  • Manage proof-of-value and trial cycles end-to-end, addressing workflows, objections, and ROI.
  • Support Global AMs on certain deals and negotiations with product-specific expertise.
  • Track competitor landscapes across chartering and maritime email providers.
  • Deliver insights to Product and PMM to strengthen positioning and accelerate product development.
  • Ensure Sales has sharp, up-to-date messaging, battlecards, and use-case narratives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, aligning product capabilities to chartering workflows and operational pain points.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong onboarding and expansion opportunities.
  • Represent Kpler at client meetings, events, and webinars as a subject-matter expert for Chartering & Inbox.
  • Drive awareness and preference for Kpler across the maritime ecosystem.
