About The Position

HPC AI Sales Specialists are solution experts that are responsible for leading HPC/AI sales pursuits. Is responsible for driving proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. This role will be remote in the areas listed as they will supporting San Francisco, San Jose, Bay area and will be expected to travel there from one of these locations 2-3X a week.

Requirements

• University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of HPC/AI specific experience
• Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities.
• Viewed as expert in given field by company and customer.
• Typically 8+ years of related sales experience.
• Project management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Uses speciality expertise to develop long term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in the HPC/AI vertical
• Provide support to the Account managers.
• Acquire and expand customer base.
• May act as a dedicated resource to a few strategic accounts.
• Establish a consultative relationship with the client, including the C- level by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
• Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.
• Expected to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the entire HPE- HPC/AI solutions portfolio, including but not limited to hardware, software and services.
