About The Position

- To drive sales and provide excellent customer service in the hot food deli department, with a focus on promoting and merchandising products. Management reserves the right to assign additional tasks as necessary to support store operations. Employees will be provided with proper training and protective equipment for any and all assigned tasks that require special handling.

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Product knowledge of hot food deli items
• Ability to push merchandise

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and needs.
• Prepare and serve hot food items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including displays and equipment.
• Actively promote and merchandise hot food items to increase sales.
• Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
