About The Position

GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries. We serve over 2,000 customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, and component suppliers worldwide, with 31 leasing, sales, distribution, and MRO operations in 19 countries. The GA Telesis Ecosystem™ concept is core to our providing integrated aviation solutions to our global customers. The Sales and Sourcing Specialist builds and maintains professional relationships with both clients and vendors while supporting sourcing strategies that require specialized knowledge of the aviation industry. This role is responsible for processing orders and preparing quotes to help meet our clients’ business needs and support company sales goals. The position reports directly to the Inside Sales Director and is based on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Requirements

  • Must possess strong organizational skills with ability to review and analyze financial data.
  • Must possess strong ability to communicate well orally and in writing.
  • Must possess ability to negotiate and sell with strong track-record of positive results.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent to thrive in a high-pressure, international business environment.
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and commitment to quality in company’s best interest.
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in aviation and/or aerospace industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, CRM, ERP, ILS, cloud-based and data analysis tools.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish (written and spoken).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Experience in sales accounting, inventory, or aviation/industrial sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process quotes on parts and services based on client requirements.
  • Fulfill quotes requests from stock and/or brokering materials.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.
  • Maintain customer opportunities accurately within CRM.
  • Follow and adhere to parts traceability requirements.
  • Track shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery and accurate destination.
  • Review and resolve Non-Conforming Material (NCO) discrepancies.
  • Forecast, plan, track, and achieve sales revenue goals with gross margin projections.
  • Prepare, present, and deliver sales productivity analytics to stakeholders.
  • Travel may be required (Less than 10%)
