About The Position

At Clear Pest Pros, we strive to provide a clear, straightforward approach to pest control. Besides providing comprehensive treatment targeted to specific pest problems, our pest control experts go above and beyond by helping home and property owners keep pests out after treatment by suggesting various preventative measures. We are searching for a Sales and Service Technician to service the Clearwater and surrounding areas. The Sales and Service Pest Technician is responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, providing effective treatment solutions, and generating new business through customer education and service recommendations. This role combines technical pest control expertise with strong customer service and sales skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Pest control license (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pest control or sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest activity and entry points
  • Identify common pests (ants, rodents, termites, bed bugs, etc.)
  • Apply appropriate treatments in accordance with company standards and local/state regulations
  • Set and monitor traps, bait stations, and exclusion devices
  • Maintain detailed service reports and treatment records
  • Ensure safe handling and application of pesticides
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and treatment options
  • Recommend additional services, upgrades, or maintenance plans
  • Generate new business through referrals, upselling, and lead follow-up
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations
  • Maintain required pest control licensing and certifications
  • Keep service vehicle clean and stocked with necessary equipment
  • Participate in ongoing training programs
