The Role: As a Sales & Service Representative you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and servicing our water treatment products and solutions to clients within our Industrial Water Treatment Division. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and sales acumen to effectively address the needs of our clients and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial water treatment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management and team coordination.
  • Ability to interpret water analysis data and recommend effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple clients.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment sales and/or service.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within assigned area.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients for water treatment solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate product solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the water treatment segment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for area clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to service calls and scheduling follow-up visits.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, service visits, and customer interactions.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve service quality and product offerings.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain water treatment equipment and systems at customer sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment.
  • Provide on-site training to customer staff on the proper operation and maintenance of systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during service activities.
  • Submit sales and service reporting documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the water treatment field.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to share insights and develop innovative solutions.
