About The Position

The Sales & Service Manager at Alo Yoga is a vital member of the store leadership team, responsible for executing the company's business and guest experience strategy. This role focuses on achieving business targets, enhancing guest experiences, and developing team talent in alignment with Alo's values. The manager ensures exceptional guest interactions and operational efficiency within the store, while also leading the Sales & Service team to foster strong client relationships and effective sales initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Strong independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in succession planning and recruitment strategy.
• Familiarity with retail sales metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Sales & Service team to ensure an exceptional guest experience on the sales floor.
• Investigate sales opportunities and partner with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
• Build and maintain client relationships daily with customers.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives throughout the store.
• Represent the business in meetings and manage budget and business data with the General Manager.
• Lead the Sales, Service, and Community team to communicate Alo's mission and principles effectively.
• Establish a succession planning and recruitment strategy for talent development.
• Write effective schedules prioritizing business strategies in partnership with the General Manager.
